One of my favorite things about January is the chance to check out new Spring clothing lines for kids (especially when we are in the midst of cold, dark, snowy days). So I’ll be sharing a lot of Spring 2014 clothing lines by your favorite brands here. First up is Tea Collection, whose newest collection is inspired by the landscape and designs of exotic Morocco. Here are my top picks:
Tea Collection Berber Stripe Sweater ($45, sizes 6-12mos to 10). Featuring a jilaba-inspired silhouette with Berber stripes, this 100% cotton turquoise pullover hoodie is a colorful transitional piece for Spring. A large center pocket keeps things handy.
Tea Collection Zigzag Mini Dress ($45, sizes 3-6mos to 12 years). The first girls’ item that caught my eye in the new collection, this chevron-printed mini dress was inspired by the zig-zag garden tile at the home of contemporary Marrakech artist Jean-Francois Fourtou.
Tea Collection Painted Flowers Flutter Romper ($32, sizes 0-3mos to 12-18mos). Sweet for spring, this flutter-sleeved romper features a pattern inspired by the delicate wallpaper seen in paintings by Henri Matisse, who spent time in Tangier.
